Emergency Access
Gates that can open ahead of fire, EMS and law enforcement.
Fire, EMS, law enforcement and city officials keep the ways in they already use. Uniti adds more, so the gates can open before units arrive.

Emergency Access
What it does for your community
- Works alongside the emergency access your community already has. Uniti adds the options below.
- Several independent ways to open: a dispatch call to an address inside, a standard emergency remote, or a recognized responder vehicle. Any one is enough.
- One gate's emergency can open every gate in the community, so responders are not stopped at a second gate.
- Fails open. A dedicated safety processor sits between the logic and the gate. If a controller, sensor or connection fails, the gate defaults to open for emergency access.
- Works without internet. Every decision is made at the gate, so a cell or internet outage does not affect emergency access.
- Holds open while units are expected, with a visible warning strobe before it closes, so trailing apparatus is not caught.
Fire marshals and agency staff can find the details, and how to test a gate, on the First Responders page.

Result
The gate opens and holds while units are expected. A strobe warns before closing.
Every decision is made at the gate, so emergency access keeps working if the internet or cell link drops. Event history and remote views use the cloud platform. See the full picture
